III	—	Passed SSC or equivalent + Certificate of Station Officer’s course of the National Fire Service College or from CISF Fire Training Centre. OR Graduate of the Institute of Fire Engineering, India/London. EXPERIENCE : Minimum experience of 5 years in a post not below the rank of Sub-Officer in a well established whole time fire services organisation is essential. NOTE : Not withstanding the above experience, the candidate must have 3 years of relevant experience after obtaining the requisite qualification for Station Officer/A for candidates without B.E. (Fire) qualification. OR ii) B.E. (Fire Engineering).	UR-1 for HWP Manuguru, Telangana.

Selection Procedure :Objective type Written Test of Two Hour duration.The Written Examination shall include :For CAT-I: Questions pertaining to Psychometric/ Aptitude / General Knowledge/ day-to-day science / discipline of the candidate. For CAT-II (10+2): Questions pertaining to Psychometric/ Aptitude / General Knowledge/ day-to-day science / Physics, Chemistry & Maths of 12 Std. For CAT-II (10+ITI) : Questions pertaining to Psychometric/ Aptitude / General Knowledge/ day-todayscience / Science & Maths of 10th Std. + ITI.Trade test is applicable to Category-II candidates with Educational Qualification of (10 + ITI).Those candidates qualifying in the Written Examination/Trade Test, if applicable, shall be short-listed for Interview.
Written Examination is proposed in the following Centres :Candidate may indicate their choice of Centre in the order of preference (atleast three Centres) in their Application Form. Allocation of Centers will be decided based on the number of candidates registering for each centre. Requests for change of Centre once opted will not be entertained. HWB reserves the right to add or delete centre(s) depending upon the number of candidates from various regions.Mode of Written Examination will be ONLINE / OFFLINE. Necessary Examination Fees will be charged separately to the candidate which will be intimated later. SC/ST, Women, Exservicemen and Physically Challenged persons will be exempted from payment of Examination Fee.Trade Test / Interview will be held at MUMBAI.

On successful completion of two years Training, the Trainees will be considered for absorption in one of the following grades depending on the performance during the Training and Interview to be held at the end of the Training. For Category I Trainees – Scientific Assistant/C. For Category II Trainees – Technician/B or Technician/C.
